 Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen is a well-known and much loved Swiss brand. It all began in Schaffhausen, where the Rhine glides at a leisurely pace past the workshop windows of IWC. Over 140 years ago, a company began a story that is still being written today. As they foray more strongly into the Indian market, they are simultaneously reasserting their links with the world of cinema. This can be seen in their appointment of Sonam Kapoor as brand ambassador.

IWC Schaffhausen announced Sonam Kapoor as a brand ambassador, earlier this year. Kapoor is the undisputed icon for luxury and fashion in India and around the world. She has made her mark on some of the world’s most prestigious platforms in show business. Ever since her appointment as Brand Ambassador, she has actively represented the brand in India and around the world.

While Sonam admires IWC for its uniqueness and creative storytelling, the brand philosophy syncs with her scintillating charm and elegance. As we all know, Sonam Kapoor is regarded as one of India’s most fashionable celebrities, sought after actresses and inspirational  influencers.

Hence, in this “IWC Talks To” interview the 31-year-old opens up about why she frequently makes unconventional choices, how she was able to find her own path despite coming from an actor family, and why she thinks she has only very little self-preservation.
