Sports timekeeping is part of TAG Heuer’s DNA. Since 2015, with Jean-Claude Biver, TAG Heuer CEO and
President of the LVMH Watch Group Division at the helm, the watch brand enhanced its presence in global sports,
and football in particular, becoming the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch for the most prestigious and iconic names.

In January this year brand once again celebrated the sport in Mumbai. During a live screening organized by Manchester United at the Royal Western Turf Club in Mahalakshami-Mumbai, as part of its #Iloveunited series of events, the Swiss Watchmaker took the opportunity to highlight the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Manchester United Special Edition. It was also an honor for the Brand to host Manchester United Ambassadors Denis Irwin and Club Legend Louis Saha.

The venue was transformed into a mini soccer pitch where VIP guests were able to challenge the United legends to shoot goals in an accuracy game.

#ILOVEUNITED has visited India three times over the last few seasons and as with previous events, Manchester United legends were on the ground meeting fans, sampling local culture and giving pre-match views and half time analysis of the game. Supporters experienced live entertainment, giveaways and competitions including the chance to win a once in a lifetime VIP trip to Old Trafford.
