Iconic designer Tarun Tahiliani, became the first ever Indian designer to launch a collection of monobranded -watches under his label in collaboration with the world’s leading watchmaker Timex Group, at Tote on the Turf in Mumbai in December 2010. The exclusive and awe-inspiring collection of jewelled watches occupies a fine line between art and functionality, beautifully bringing to life the collaboration between the two pioneers Tarun Tahiliani and Timex Group.
Timex Group is the one of the world’s largest watch maker that designs, manufactures and markets innovative timepieces and jewelry globally. Timex was founded in 1854 and has a rich heritage of making the finest timepieces.
Tarun Tahiliani has many many firsts to his credit, including the first-ever Indian designer to showcase at the Milan Fashion Week in September 2003. He has shown collections in New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Moscow, South Africa and Karachi. IN 2008, he opened his super flagship store the DLF Emporio Mall in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
Also present on the occasion was V. D. Wadhwa, CEO, Timex Group India.
