TRENDS FOR THE NEAR FUTURE….

We see a couple of things happening at the same time. There is a trend towards premium watches. There is a certain look that these products command and consumers are willing to pay the price for it. Certain colour combinations work well, rose gold is getting popular. For women’s watches, subtle embellishment is in. Rose gold combined with different colours is also popular. For men, the sport look and chronographs is going well.

THE LUXURY SEGMENT IS GROWING FAST IN INDIA AND TITAN HAS TAKEN A CLEAR DIRECTION TO CAPITALIZE ON THAT, AS CAN BE SEEN FROM HIGH-END COLLECTIONS LIKE THE NEBULA. CAN YOU TALK ABOUT THIS SECTION OF THE MARKET?

We are basically known as a mid-market company. But, there are a lot of consumers who have grown with us. They have a relationship with the brand. When they want to buy a high-end watch, there is a certain comfort level that Titan brings. They continue to think very highly of the brand. So, they come to us. We have seen many people migrating from the steel edge to the Nebula edge, which is the gold one! It is interesting since the journey of Titan is mirroring that of its customer. They do come back to us because the values match.
