MAURICE LACROIX

Withdrawal from Baselworld 2019

Maurice Lacroix has announced its withdrawal from Baselworld 2019. The brand has been participating in the annual watch and jewellery fair since the past 30 years. In parallel, the brand will move to Geneva and exhibit for the first time on the “Ile Rousseau”, in the heart of the city between 14th to 18th January 2019. During this event, the Swiss company, synonymous with iconic design and Swiss craftsmanship, will launch its latest Masterpiece creations.

This move comes at a time when the Baselworld fair itself is undergoing changes, as is the watch industry. At Maurice Lacroix, the “Passion for Progress” lies at the heart of the brand's culture. The watch industry is constantly evolving, as are the expectations of the Swiss firm's retail customers. The brand sees this as a move to upgrade its business and distribution model.

Maurice Lacroix has also said that the company looks forward to discovering the new concepts prepared for Baselworld 2020.
