TAG HEUER

TAG HEUER REVS UP FOR FORMULA 1 IN SINGAPORE

A SPECIAL MEDIA EVENT

In a closed-door, media-only event at the Wisma Atria boutique, TAG Heuer, together with global brand ambassador Patrick Dempsey, kicked off the start of the new Heuer Globetrotter initiative. This new exhibition concept saw 10 different boutiques worldwide exhibiting 40 vintage watches each. That means 400 timepieces on display at the same time globally. The talented actor & director unveiled 26 vintage Heuer watches from the TAG Heuer 360 Museum in Switzerland as well as 19 pieces loaned from local collectors. The centrepiece of the Singapore exhibition was the 18 ct gold Heuer Carrera from 1970, which Jack Heuer presented to each Ferrari driver, with their name engraved on the case-back. The exhibition gave TAG Heuer enthusiasts and supporters an opportunity to appreciate some of the rarer pieces that have never left the museum in Switzerland!

SOME OUTDOOR FUN!

The outdoor atrium in front of Wisma Atria was transformed into a sleek and modern façade that resembled the starting blocks of a F1 race.

The 500-strong boisterous crowd was had much to wait for! After all, this was the first time Patrick Dempsey had appeared in Singapore for TAG Heuer together with Max Verstappen, easily one of the most exciting names in F1 today. After a series of interesting talks, came the roaring challenge! Patrick Dempsey and Max Verstappen were to put to the test as they took on a DontCrackUnderPressure challenge. They were each given 10 questions to answer and 30 seconds to answer them.

The complete event is in Hours & Minutes on pg. no. 22 in the October 2017 edition.
